Delta PLC and Wonderware Intouch
Human-Machine Interface and SCADA. topic

I am actually new to Delta PLCs. I have made a few programs on it and I am still learning and getting familiar with programming it. You can say that I am still only getting the hang of the basics of Delta programming, getting help every now and then.

I recently found out that delta PLCs can be interfaced with wonderware intouch using factory suite. Having interfaced other PLCs with intouch before, I thought I would use the previous programs and revise it for use for the delta PLC.

And here where the problem comes in... since it is my first time using modicon modbus as an I/O server, it seems that I can't get integer or real I/O to work, though discrete I/O works.

I think it may be improper addressing on my part being new to modbus protocols?

Can anyone give an example of how to get a integer or real value from the plc and use it on intouch and vice versa? Will really appreciate the help.
