Hope this is in the correct forum...

Looking for an HOA switch that has 2 auto settings; say, A1 and A2. If I was to name it, it would be an HOA1A2.

Hand = manual operation
Off = Off
A1 = VFD 1 powers equipment
A2 = VFD 2 powers equipment

Seems simple to this Mechanical Design guy; but it also seems to not exist.

 

I would think that what you are talking about is a selector switch. Most electrical component manufacturers make them in various configurations. Allen-Bradley makes them. See the below link. If you don't like A-B, check with other electrical manufacturers on the net (Westinghouse, Eaton, Siemens, etc.). It is not clear from your position description how you are handling the hand and auto positions for two VFDs or how you intend to mechanically interface the two VFD into your equipment. It may not be as simple as it seem in using the switch as it is described.
