how do you measure brix?

i want to measure brix for juice going to the evaporator station in a sugar industry

Typically with a refractometer. There are various types on the market which can give you an inline continuous measurement. As usual, Google "inline refractometer" yields a good list of the players in that domain. There are other techniques available for certain applications using a mass flow meter. In those cases, the density of the solution can be co-related to a density/temperature/brix lookup table, thereby giving a brix value.

Refractometer is one way, if sampling and measuring off-line so you can clean it afterwards.

On-line measurements seem to switch between gamma radiation density devices and digital density meters from one year to the enxt and back again.

By the way, there is no such thing as "coriolis density" a coriolis meter may be able to measure density as a result of running at resonant frequency, i.e. uses the digital density method as per ASTM D4052. The coriolis effect is the term used to describe, possibly misleadingly according to Dr Jesse Yoder in a recent article, the technique by which mass flow is measured.

But unless you want mass flow be sure to compare different digital density devices.

Bellingham & Stanley are reputable suppliers of refractometers (handheld and process) for measuring Brix value

Hope this helps
