Transfer function of a proportional solenoid valve?

I have a proportional solenoid valve (the output flow is proportional to the input current) and I need to derrive its transfer function for the control loop calculations, simulations etc. Is there a formula for a transfer function of such valve? I am talking about a steady-state transfer function of course.
