I'm using RSLOGIX 500 and my program stopped in the middle somewhere. Can someone tell me the easiest way to find the rung where it stopped?

 

It's been a while since I've played with RSLogix 500 but I believe the rung would be lit (highlighted).

I think the rung number is someplace in the variables as well, but that's from a fading memory.

With later SLC5 products there are a couple of words in the status table to tell you this.

Early ones do not have this feature.

 

In logix 5 and I think same in 500 it is in the controller properties under major/minor fault and it will tell the program and rung......been a while since I've seen a stopped processor ; )P

In the processor status file, under the ERRORS tab. Near the bottom you will see S20 and S21. These will tell you the rung and file number where the error occurred.
