I am just new on automation, and I've been wondering if there is someone who can help me about connecting the PLC and VFD via Modbus. I will really appreciate your help.
PLC is unitronics v350-35-ta24
VFD is Hitachi x200
I'm confused on the wiring part, wherein the VFD using RS485 can only be connected with two ports pin 5 (sends data positive) and 6 (sends data negative), the manual specified that I don't need to connect the other ports. With just two ports, I tried connecting it to Unitronics PLC on pin 1(positive signal)and 6 (negative signal), the other pins is for RS232. But still failed no reaction from the VFD. I did follow all the steps in the manual but to no avail.
