Dear anybody

We have a measuring error on HRSG drum level during winter. If ambient temperature go down and we have freezing temperature, we will turn on the heat tracing and it cause to melt freezed condensate pot and tubes. after a while when temperature going up (because heat tracing) still again we have Errors in level measuring. so we are confused.

please give us alternatives or recommend special liquid to use in condensate pots.

heat tracing is not always the same as freeze protection.

so you need to be more specific.

what is the tracing temperature? how is the temperature regulated? what is the boiler pressure and how long are the impulse lines?
