I'm new to this page,

My rig was drilling fine and shift to another location and encounted this slc 05/03 fault light and could not start the rig.

I change out SLC05/03 processor unit-could not
Changed out power supply could not.

Can the hardwiring cause these error or need to reprogram?

Thanks,

Sparkie

Probably a software fault or io module fault. You will have to check the status file to determine what it is.

You need to go online with the processor to diagnose and/or reset the fault, then reset the processor to run mode.

Once you're online, the pulldown that normally says "Run Mode" in green will say "Fault" in red or something like that. Pull down the window, and one of the options is Go To Fault, or something similar. Then it will take you to a dialog that describes the error (program error like math overflow, I/O module fault because it came loose during the physical move, etc.) Fix that, clear the error, switch back to run mode and you're on your way.
