i want to know what is the methods are used to regulate and control the output AC voltage?
like if we have a ballast which controlling a fluorescent lamp, the main ballast input is 220 ACV and it will dim the light up and down according to the control input signal.
the ballast output will vary between 10-220 VAC according to the control signal? how the ballast control the output voltage to dim the lamp up and down?
does it use PWM, triac???
