Does anyone have experience with moving data from an Historian (PI, Proficy, Aspen, etc..) to a Data-warehouse?

The main issues I would love to hear about are:

1. What is the best Historian for moving data out of it and why?

2. what is the speed of moving data out of Historians? Benchmarks, etc...

3. How easy is it to move data out
