Modbus Master/Slave on fiber optics

Hi,

I have three different vendors on modbus link and they blame each other for unhealthy conditions. Any test which can clear where the problem is?
The comunication is on Fiber optics which is 2 km long.

Have you tried removing the devices one at a time and see when the problem goes away? Can you tell us more about what the issues are? Are the slaves talking over the top of each other or what?
