Can anyone explain the meaning of the 'HUPE' Teleperm ME function block in the GET (Graphic Engineering Tool) workstation's FUP (Siemens). I have a suspicion it has got something to do with some process alarms.

Thanks for the response. In other words, its for audible alarming purposes, but is it only for simulation?
