Hello,

I am new to: rs485, modbus and dealing with API subjects. I have an industrial computer under Debian Linux 2.2. It has rs485 port. There is a sensor with rs485 interface. Finally, there is an operator's workstation running SCADA applications. I'm looking for free software that I could install on the industrial computer in order to acquire data from the sensor by using Modbus RTU and to provide API for a SCADA application. Could anybody help me?
