At our Gas Turbine plant at Uran on rainy days, Gas turbine unit load drops from 108 MW to 70 MW, although there no increase in DP across Air filter is observed. however DP at compressor intake bell mouth is reduced indicating the reduction in air flow. How come this is possible when there is no change in DP across the air filter?
It is also observed that when the filters are replaced by new one, DP at compressor intake bell mouth increases and load gets increased to normal value.
