i have Siemens s7-400 and ET 200m plc modules in my water treatment plant. i am facing a problem with a solenoid valve open/close function.
Solenoid valve (dwpd 321) is not energizing from remote. but operates from local. i have studied that if i press once at open button from hmi, a binary signal goes to DO module of ET-200m. and an led should blink until i press the close button at hmi. but the problem is that the led blinks for one time whenever i press open button but don't holds for at least 2 seconds. that's why the valve is not energizing.
what should i do?
