We are using 2 pulse outputs from DCS to control 2 solenoid valves (Open & Close) on a Choke valve.
The problem is the valve travel is non-linear w.r.t the number of pulses required to open/close the valve. We have data of the pulses required per 10% from the valve vendor as part of the FAT results for the valve.
Any specific method of control to be used to resolve the issue, the requirement is for both coarse & fine control.
