Hi.
At my site we have two type GE gas turbine:
1. non-dln type frame 9 Mark V
2. dln type frame9 mark v
but for purge pressure for liquid fuel nozzle we have two procedure:
for DLN TYPE, if pressure between pressure entire the fuel oil nozzle and compressor discharge pressure less than a value, the gas turbine must be shutdown with control system.
but non-dln type has just a switch not dp.
if switch active we have just alarm. there isn't any shutdown or trip. the set of switch is 6.8 bar it's means if the gas turbine work at high load and the CPD is 9.5 bar and the pressure of liquid nozzle purge is 7 bar. there isn't any problem. WHY?
