The folks at shodan.io put together a map of from the internet reachable control systems. Have a look at https://icsmap.shodan.io.
I find it really interesting. I tried to access some of the listed addresses (for the 104 protocol) and they are still reachable and I get a sensible answer.
On the other hand, the list of reachable 104 devices is only 93 entries long (and one of them is our own server - intentionally online). so in the whole it seems that there are not that many systems actually vulnerable, and it is of course difficult to estimate how many of those are actually productive plants.
