I was asked for I/O Mapping address list of Sub control System. Does it mean that I should provide an Interfacing Description of SCS with DCS?

My SCS is having a provision to communicate the DCS with PROFIBUS PA.
Please explain it with examples... It will be of great help...

Yes, they are requesting a list of any points, (Real or internal data points and registers) so they can read/use them in their system.

Yes, they ask you to provide the description about what and how the points from the SCS to be readdressed/mapped in to DCS. Sometimes you must provides the list of signal and ask the DCS guys to provide the address for each signals if the SCS has the configurable address, unless you just give registered mapping address to DCS guys if the SCS has the fix registered address (i.e.. For the SCS with fixed modbus registered address).

The problems are happen if the SCS has the fixed address and the DCS have the defined range address for each type of signal.
