Engine Controller for Genset

Hi everybody,

I am building my own genset with a diesel engine and possibly a Stamford alternator. I have to control the fuel supply relative to the load and need some suggestions where I can start looking for equipment to do the control. I have some PLC programming and instrumentation experience.
