Modscan (verification & validation tool) proves MODBUS TCP-IP connectivity in my LAN application. However, when I connect to Citect 7.03 #COM error appears!

I need a turn-key, off the shelf, Modbus slave simulation software that can load in a new user-supplied value after a register is read (or programmatically tell me when a register has been read, so I can load the next value to it).

I have been trying to do following with my embedded board:
Send command, read response (parse string from the response), send another command, read response (parse string from the response)...
Until now I have no success...
