Hello:

I work for a small power plant with a GE gas turbine frame 7ea. What I am trying to find is a test procedure and or fixture to test the flame detectors when they are removed for turbine inspections. As of right now we take the flame detectors off clean them and then reinstall them and test them using a propane torch. It is a little bit of a hindrance and a lot of the time not very trustworthy.

I may be barking up the wrong tree, however I work in a similar Industry as yourself and to test our UV Detectors we use a UV lamp with correct UV wavelength determined by the manufacturer.
