Would Baily INFI 90 system have any value with IMHSS03 and IMDS004 modules? There is about 55 modules plus spare parts but these are the only numbers I could read in the photos. Thank you.

 

Since the ABB Symphony Plus system is still very active, brand new modules are available from ABB. In the examples you mention, the DSO14 and HSS03 are available new. The DSO14 being a surface mount technology version of the DSO04 you have.

Since these are available new, this will limit the value in your used parts. How much risk will someone be willing to take to save a few bucks, especially in a production facility?

That said, there is still a market. There is a market for everything.

www.infi90.com lists used HSS03 modules at $1800 each, but they only have the older HSS02 in stock. The HSS is a hydraulic servo slave module.

The DSO04, a 24VDC DO module, is $142 with a qty of 14 at the aforementioned web site. You can find these also on ebay from time to time. The newer DSO14 lists at $412.

For those of you who don't know, these systems are current and active. Our oldest one was installed in 1983 and with an upgraded top end (HMI, communications, controllers, power supplies) the input output modules remain in place, and the field wiring terminations have not been touched.
