We are installing a control valve to regulate the flow of a water to 100m3/h. Assuming the initial flowrate upstream the CV is greater than 100m3/hr, will it (upstream flowrate) ultimately equalizes with the downstream flow?
The question is a little vague, the flow upstream and downstream will be the same (what goes in , will come out).
You will see a Pressure Delta across the Control Valve, depending on the valve position. I am assuming there is some type of sensor (flowmeter, Temp probe, etc.) in the control loop to control the opening/closing of the control valve. Can you describe your application with more detail?
