Is there a way to use a GE 90-70 PLC (IC697CPX935) with a TCPIP card (IC697CMM742), to make some Modbus TCPIP Master requests? We want to Read words and Write words to / from Modbus TCPIP Slave devices, while polling this GE PLC with HMI using GE TCPIP Protocol.

http://www.fieldserver.com can be loaded with Modbus TCP/IP & (GE-SRTP or GE-EGD) for bi-directional communications, this would reside on the same network as your GE PLC.
