We are a 50:50 joint venture company between TATA Power & Delhi Vidhut Board. My company is North Delhi Power Ltd. It is in power distribution business in North & north west Delhi. We are going to install 108 M.W. combined cycle power plant at Delhi, brought from China.
It is a second hand plant of John Brown make. Its exhaust duct is of very high grade material (ss321) & externally insulated. It has thermal cracks. We want to repair it & then use it after doing internal insulation in high temp zones. Can we go for internal insulational also? what will be the effect on back pressure on Gas turbine? can you give some guidelines to us?
