I have a micrologix1400 PLC. I want to use a 5V DC loop powered two wire transmitter with the IF4 analog input module. How can i do it? The transmitter houses a thermistor which transmits temperature scaled to 0.5V to 4.5V DC.

I don't think it's possible to have a voltage powered 2 wire transmitter. Are you sure it doesn't have an internal battery?
