I am having a problem upgrading the executive in a Quantum 434 12A PLC, it is currently revision 1.02 and I am trying to upgrade to revision 1.24.
I have tried using both modsoft and Proworx exec loader, the exec upgrades without a problem and the program loads in again without failure, but then when I try and start the PLC it comes up an error and then won't let me re-connect to the PLC (and I have to wipe the memory). I can load the old exec back in with no problem, the system has a cps (214 00), cpu, nom (211 00), noa (611 00) 2 input cards and an output card. Can anyone help?
Is the interbus card the problem? we use a 3x1x block to import IO to the interbus card - does anyone else use this function block?
