I'm recently facing issues with Instrument Cables our Quality team has raised the issue of Instrument Cable passing gases from enclosure installed inside Hazardous atmosphere (Battery Room) to Safe area and the issue also matter of concern for other Field Hazardous areas like Compressors etc, where Hazardous Gases may present during normal operating conditions.

Your battery room must be continually evacuated (fresh air) with slight negative pressure, and H2 gas detectors.
