Can some one please assist me going online with Siemens master drive 6SE70-130EP50. I am using the special Siemens RS232 cable and connecting to my com1 port on my laptop. The other end is connected to the drive RS232 port. I need to change some parameters in the drive, but can not go on-line with the drive monitor software. We have profibus connected on the profibus connector of the drive. I tried going on-line by disconnecting the profibus connector, but it did not help. The settings on the drive monitor is USS, com1 and baud rate of 9600. Bus operation RS485 in automatic mode.
