We're attempting to hook up a Kohler Generator to our SCADA system(WonderWare).
It has an RS232 communication card installed, but it has never been used.
The card has been configured per the instructions and is powered up.
The existing system uses a Modbus driver that resides on our Scada server and polls the system in a preconfigured manner through a fiber optic network. Within the network we have several RS232 interface modules.
All topics have been defined in the ModBus driver and we have tested the RS232 interface module on another end device and it works fine, but when we connect it to the Generator we get no information.
We have a need at this time to use our laptop as the polling device for troubleshooting purposes.
Can anyone assist me in getting this to work?
