Using Remote Seal Level Transmitter in Evaporative Tank

Hi,

I have some need to measure the level of a sugar evaporator tank. Evaporation process took place at several stages (12 evaporators) with varying density of juice during evaporation process.

Can I use the remote seal type level transmitter in this case?
Or radar type will be more fit?

Await for you advice.

Thanks!

Hydrostatic level measurement by DP is only valid for a known density.

Changes in density will be reflected as variations in head pressure with a resulting variation in level indication.

In fact, DP can be used to indicate density when both the upper and lower ports/seals are entirely covered with liquid. But that does not sound like what you are trying to accomplish.

Radar is a better fit for level measurement when changing density is factor.
