I am Trying to setup a fault in S7 PDiag. As The manual suggested i placed the mouse over the bit (Q bit) i want to monitor. Selected Special Object Properties -> Monitoring.

I was Able to see the templates, But the new button was gray.

I have Pdiag installed .. Any Idea What am I doing Wrong ?

i have faced the same problem earlier, but now i got to know that s7-pdiag must be installed separately, although it is shown in simatic folder in start menu. u can download it from web or purchase it, whatever u like.

my problem is solved by installing it...

now new button is working...
