Why don't try Coriolis Type for these measurements? Viscous material you mean is fuel / light oil?

You might try: Max Machinery (www.maxmachinery.com). They offer a number of PD (Positive Displacement) flow meters over a wide range of flows. PD meters have a low sensitivity to viscosity. So if the viscosity is varying the volumetric flow reading is maintained. PD meters are used for many medium to high viscosity services. They are typically very reliable especially when the fluid has even a little lubricity.
