I've just been Informed by our Company that we cannot Place on our website that we do Custom Software of any sort, for our Customers that is. Could be to large of a liability risk. this statement Floored me. then why does AB pack a VBA Development area into there Package, if you cannot enhance their SCADA by it, why do our excel reporting sheets have 150 lines of MY CODE, why does AB have ActiveX Controls Included into their Package? Then how do u implelment a Microcontroller ("any Family") into a Automation Project? I've been Writing Source For 15 years, and 5 years for his Company I work for now that Said this, I'd like to hear other stories from others on this topic, please.

I'm seeing this a lot with various companies. Most have to do with the totally-bogus lawsuit between AB and Solaia Technology LLC

Define custom software. If your company has this policy, they must have a good reason, if you don't like move on. Sounds like you write custom code, but the comapny has a issue with making that statement, so live with it, keep your job, or don't and move on.
